In the Beginning
In the beginning,
bring those tulips long
youthful legs
and luscious red hair
redder than rose.
Go out on a Saturday to watch
favorite movie.
Ice cream under the shades
of any trees at People's Park
and rest back
on their rough thighs,
laugh and talk
about things that matter
only to moments.
Eat smoked salmon at Espresso,
fine particles of baroque
kiss both ears.
Stroll by the quay,
hands lucked together.
Words start it all,
and words must end it.
